Introducing Petlings

Hatch Petlings from the Petling Capsule Machine using Petling Tokens. Unlike Pets, Petlings do not need to be cared for. Petlings like to sleep and dance with Pets. They can also be used to interact with sparking bushes and rocks. 

There are a total of 75 different Petlings with 3 unique colors each. 225 Petlings total. Additional Limited timed Petlings maybe added to RoPets in the future. In addition to your Pet, a maximum of 2 Petlings can be equipped in-game. Equipped Petlings will run alongside your Pet. Petling Capsules purchased and Petlings hatched are stored in Petlings Tab in the Backpack. 

How to Get Petlings?

Purchase Petlings from the Petlings Capsule Machine using Petling Tokens. Earning Petling Tokens for the capsules is fairly easy. Petling Tokens can be earned by completing tasks on the To-Do List.

To view your Petling Tokens balance, tap on the Petling Capsule Machine . Find the To-Do List by tapping on the clipboard icon in the game. Another way to get Petlings is via the Trade Button or at the Trading Center. 

To-Do List

To-Do Llist contains tasks that can be completed around the Map to earn Petling Tokens. Tap on the Clipboard to open up the To-Do List. Some tasks give more Petling Tokens than others 

When a task has been completed, a new task will appear after a cooldown time of 1 hour. Tasks can be discarded by tapping the “X” button next to each task. Discarded/Canceled. Tasks will also have a cooldown time of 1 hour. Cooldown time can be skipped using gems. Tasks on the To-Do List do not expire. 

Merging Petlings

Petlings can be merged at the Fox Shrine. Unequip Petlings before starting a Merge. Tap on the Fox Shrine followed by the Merge Petlings button to begin a Merge. 

Merge any 4 Petlings to combine them and get a new Petling and a chance of a different rarity. When you add 4 Petlings you wish to Merge it will give you the likely outcome percentages of rarity before you confirm to merge them. 

Petling Rarities

The chance of getting a certain type of Petling from the Capsule Machine is based on their Rarities. Petling Rarity Board can be found next to the Capsule Machine. 

Different Petling Rarities include - Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary, Common rarity has a higher percentage of hatching because Players will be able to acquire multiple capsules easily.

Merge 4 Petlings at the Fox Shine for a chance at a higher Rarity. Epic and Legendary Petlings all have Shiny Parts. 

Petling Gamepass

Equip Petlings from the Petlings Tab in the Backpack. By default, up to 2 Petlings can be equipped at the same time.

If you try to equip a third Petling the +1 Petling Gamepass pop-up will appear to purchase the extra equip. Purchasing the Petling Gamepass allows for 1 additional Petling to be equipped and can be purchased up to 2 times.

The Petling Gamepass will be available for Robux and is permanent.

Golden Capsules

Golden Capsules, like Regular Capsules can be hatched for Petlings and contain the exact same types of Petlings as the regular Capsules. 

The difference between a Golden Capsule and a regular Capsule is - with the Golden Capsule, there is a better chance of hatching a Petling with a higher rarity. Common and Uncommon Petlings have been removed from it.  

Golden Capsules cannot be earned from within the game. The only way to obtain them for now is via giveaways, occasionally from select RoPets influencers or from @SuperBevarooni
