Home Street now provides you with the option for using your in-game character image as your Home Street Portrait. The Home Street Portrait or HS Portrait is the picture that shows in the friends' bar, when help was given on Cruise Ship, and when a player has helped on a functional item.
Using your HS Portrait in Home Street
If your game is not connected to Facebook, Home Street will use your character’s image and name by default as your HS Portrait.
Once you successfully sign in to Facebook, the game will automatically switch out your HS Portrait and character name for your Facebook name and Profile Pic.
Toggling between FB Profile Pic and HS Portrait
You can easily toggle on/off the option to display your Facebook Profile pic within your Home Street Game via the in-game Settings menu.
To toggle the use of your FB Profile Pic in Home Street:
Go to Settings (gear-shaped icon on the top-left corner of your screen)
If you are connected to Facebook, under the FB Connect option, you will find a new option: "Use FB Portrait"
Tap this to toggle on/off
When you are helped by a player using their Character portrait as an avatar, their game name will display below the image.
